Kebbi approves N500m for rural roads, farming development

Kebbi State Government has approved N500m counterpart fund for the development of its rural roads and farming.

The approval was contained in a statement signed by Governor Abubakar Bagudu’s Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Muazu Dakingari and made available to journalists on Monday.

The statement said the N500 million counterpart funds was for rural access agricultural marketing project (RAAMP) and United States African Development Foundation (USADF) Programmes in the state.

It said “RAAMP has more than N300m while United States African Development Foundation has more than 500,000 dollars
