Milk Farm Project to Create 40, 000 Jobs

The Milk Farm Project in Kano is set to kick-off with 14, 000 herds of cows that will produce up to 52 million litres of milk and create jobs for 40, 000 people in Nigeria.

A delegation of the Embassy of Denmark in Abuja disclosed these during a courtesy visit to the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Muhammad Sabo Nanono in Abuja.

The delegates, led by the Danish Ambassador, Jesper Kamp, said the purpose of the meeting was to inform the minister on previous activities of the Mission in the Nigerian agricultural sector.

Kamp assured the ministry that the Embassy would replicate the project in the other Northern States.

Nanono in his address promised the ministry’s full support and collaboration.
