Sokoto Invests Millions in Sesame Farming

The Sokoto State Government says it has spent millions of Naira for the development of semase farming value chain in the state.

The fund is said to have covered for organic fertilisers, herbicides, insecticides, and sprayers

Also, the fund covered the provision of brand new Hilux vehicles for smooth monitoring and inspection of sesame farms.“Nonetheless, another set of vehicles were distributed amongst the extension workers for day-to-day routine to ensure all the benefiting farmers get good advice,” the statement said.
